My husband and I celebrated two years married at Toro Toro and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is incredible and the aromas hit you the second you walk in! Our serve Aimee G. was a pleasure—she was sweet, helpful, and very attentive. Everything we ate was delicious. I was super impressed by the guacamole, not something we would typically order at a steakhouse but wow! The skirt steak was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth and we paired it with a delicious lobster. Dessert was killer and my husband loved his cocktails, I stuck to wine! The chef, Armando, made his way around and we enjoyed chatting with him, you could see how passionate he is about what he does. Would 100% recommend for a date night!, Would not recommend. The service was severely poor considering the price. Ordered medium steak, got well done. Manager replaced it, but still lacked seasoning. Waiter lied about dessert options. Simple requests took 40 minutes. Disappointing experience overall. Additionally, the restaurant was very loud, the ambiance was nice aside from the distracting basketball game playing., Love this place! My boyfriend took me for our Valentine’s day dinner. It was my first time here, and I’m still dreaming about the steak 😭 the peppers on the side gave such a refreshing smell. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the perfect amount of garlic, and crunch… ugh. I’m definitely coming back. Best steak i’ve had so far. The steak was so filling I decided to take half of it home, and it tasted just as good the next day! The guacamole and drinks were amazing too! I recomend this place 1000%!, This place is located at the Intercontinental Hotel. The vibe is cozy, and the design is stylish. I had the skirt steak the mash potatoes and the sprouts. The meat melted literally in your mouth. I saw some deserts served, though I had no dessert, it looked impressive. Try it., You will not be disappointed. From the quality of the ingredients used to flavor the food to the quality of the food itself, Toro Toro is hands down the best restaurant I think I've ever been to. Here's why: So it is within the Continental Hotel. Please, if you have any qualms about the hotel divorce them immediately from this restaurant to include presumptions about how this restaurant could be for you until you've had the experience. And I've been to a few great spots: Off the top-Quality Italian, Smith and Wollensky, Capital Grille, 24, Maestros etc and Toro Toro has the best dishes-especially STEAK-all around. The setting can be louder than necessary-it is a part of a hotel. I believe this would be a 6 star experience if the musical environment was more subtle, promoting a touch of quietude that enhances your palate due to limited sensory distractions. The drinks are potent. Even mixes of juice, alcohol and fruit. One drink for me and I felt the buzz. In a great way. Nothing water can't dilute. Plus with zesty and flavorful appetizers youll actually sip on your drink instead of having two or three because your palate hasn't been engaged with flavor. Toro toro seasons their food with an almost scientific approach. It really suppresses your higher centers and engages your emotional centers to truly bring an experience you'll remember because your palate becomes connected with your brains limbic core. I've never had this experience anywhere else. The dinner is more than generous. You'll have plenty of options and all of the red meats are made and even designed fresh daily. To make special mention of our server for the night, Aimee, from Cuba. She was professional yet cool. She provided exceptional serviceand was extremely attentive. She's an asset to the team. Thank you Aimee! Overall a great experience provided by manager Aibek and Chef Sandoval and server-expert Aimee. Thank you!
