There was so much hype but it wasn’t great. Our first round of drinks had no alcohol, you can’t really hide tequila but literally nothing there. They remade it and it was moderately better. We had a bunch of the items listed but honestly the food was underwhelming. My friends hyped it so much and I left pretty disappointed. We didn’t think the lobster explosion or duck lettuce wraps were very flavorful.. we kinda felt blah. The cheesecake is essentially a pound cake so definitely don’t spend on that unless you like pound cake. I have a picture of what they brought for a neat drink. It looks about .75 of an ounce so there’s that., Komodo is a great place to meet friends and have some drinks while sharing beautifully served yummy food. I was dissatisfied with how ling it took to get drinks since we went early on Friday when the restaurant is at its slowest point. While the server was great, the drinks were forgotten and some we had to request again after about 20 min. The ambiance is great and I’ll probably come back for the later time to see if it lives up to the hype., So my experience was great I definitely think that it’s a decent priced restaurant for the Miami Brickell lifestyle. And I think it’s great for big groups, or gathering with friends on a great Miami night. I thought the food was prepared great I did have the wild mushroom lo mein, which had a little kick to it, which was a little different for me. But when it came to the service, I thought our server was great. He was smiling and happy to serve us. So when I think of night dinning l, I definitely would recommend this place for dinner and probably even lunch if I thought that I about it. But look at the pictures below, and I’m sure you might find it pleasing to yourself as well., All that I can say is that this restaurant is amazing. I had some of the best food that I've had in a long time here. The atmosphere was also amazing, and the service was great. I can't wait to go back to try more menu items. The one and only negative was the reservation and check-in process. Our reservation meant nothing at all. We had to wait almost an hour to be seated., We booked a table for 8pm and arrived a little early so we waited at the bar until 8pm when our table was ready. The food and service was amazing, no complaints at all. The food came out very quickly and the Japanese cheesecake was so good! As we were leaving the restaurant was pretty full and the bar was overcrowded so glad we booked a table for 8pm as we had no issues with waiting for a table/waiting for food!
