First time for us after the renovation. Food is even better than the first time we tried KYU (and that’s huge!), ambiance is similar in terms of decoration but more spacious and relaxing. Service was much better, we arrived early for our reservation and the hostess was able to find a table for us that was even better than the one we reserved. Andy was an amazing server, with great recommendations and good conversation). We ordered the “classics” (Korean fried chicken and the cauliflower) and we added a Japanese sweet potato that Andy recommended, which was out of this world delicious. Highly recommended place., The experience was wonderful and we will come back! We weren’t thrilled with the cauliflower but the rest as Tuna Crispy rice, Baby ribs were absolutely excellent, Korean fried chicken was delicious and of course after all this delicious meals we couldn’t resist desserts. We got doughnuts and they were spectacular!! On the top of this amazing food, our bartenders Dons were just icing on the cake :))). They were incredibly helpful and fun. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!, Our dinner at KYU was nothing but amazing! From our fantastic server, Andy with his amazing recommendations and the attention he gave us. The food and drinks were outstanding 👌 Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert so we definitely need to come back., Tried nearly 8 different food and drink options for dinner. Made a reservation for 5:15pm for the reopening weekend and it was the perfect weekend dinner experience. Not just great food, but great atmosphere and mood. Watching the chef and team detail every step was an experience in its own. Wonderful dining experience 10/10
Octopus was my favorite along with the sake bomb -- I'll be back!, I swear, anyone who complains about this restaurant must be a Mcdonalds fan. There is not one thing bad about this amazing experience other than the cost (which is worth every penny, but it makes our opportunity to visit limited) and the fact that since their opening they removed my favorite dish which was the soft crab bao bun. That was the most amazing thing I have ever tasted. It was soft, crsphy, hot, sweet and tangy all in one bite.
We went for our 29th anniversary last night and it did not disappoint. Amazing cocktails and every bite is an adventure. It seems every restaurant has the typical factory food....fried calamari, steamed shrimp and on and on. There is not one thing on this menu that is typical. Each item has supremely high flavor and quality. One dish pictured, was Mimmos Burrata. It was so incredible I will dream about it until the next visit. Oh and the caromon donuts - honestly they take you to heaven.
Environment and service could not be better.
I am so happy that they reopened. Thank you for serving us in South Florida. We are blessed! Until next time!
