It was our first time going and let me tell you I will be a repeat customer! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! And our drinks were made to PERFECTION! Danielle served us and any questions we had she was so amazing to help us out being that it was our first time. She has such an amazing personality and you can tell she loves her job and being there for the customers. I will be back to visit and hope to have Danielle again as our server. Thank you for such an amazing experience., This place is incredible!! They were ready for our reservation at our reservation time, which has really gone by the wayside as of late! Started out with an incredible red ale and my wife got an orange mojito that she said was amazing. It was her birthday and they brought her out a personalized box of chocolates at the end of the meal! We shared the calamari, Gator tail, and half dozen char broiled oysters. Couldn't have asked for a better meal or atmosphere, Overall, our experience at Ulele was pretty good, although it was quite crowded when we arrived, with a diverse mix of people. Seeing a table full of brothers and sisters made me think the food must be excellent. Everyone was dressed nicely. I was surprised that mac and cheese was listed as an appetizer instead of a side dish. I ordered it anyway and will provide feedback on its taste once I try it. The fried okra was amazing. Who knew that splitting it down the middle and frying it would eliminate the slime? With a sprinkle of lime juice, it was fantastic. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out rare. I decided not to complain and waited for it to be corrected. When it returned, it seemed over-charred, almost as if it was done out of spite. I didn’t want to send it back again, fearing it might get worse, so I just enjoyed it as it was. It was better when it was medium rare, but I chose not to make a fuss. Considering the price, would I come back? Probably, but I would choose a less busy time, like a Sunday or Father’s Day. Overall, I’d give Ulele an 8 out of 10., Came to this place to celebrate for my graduation. This place has a Michelin recommendation, and it didn’t disappoint! This restaurant is inspired by a story of a Native American named Ulele. The exterior has statues of the person, and the inside is clean and had artifacts from Tampa Bay. The service was quick, friendly, and celebrated with chocolates. The food itself was delicious. Some of my favorites included the Mac and Cheese and the Seafood Risotto. Dishes like the Calamari and the Muffins don’t disappoint. My chicken dish tasted good, but it wasn’t as enjoyable as the other dishes. Overall, Ulele is still a very enjoyable experience people should enjoy at least once., We came earlier this week and enjoyed it so much we came back for my birthday! The first night we had Estaban as our server and he was amazing! He served us outside while it was even raining and he had the best attitude and gave us incredible service! The second night we ate here we were greeted with Liz and she was so sweet! She was very informative over the menu and was so hard working! She was able to give us great service all the while taking care of many other tables! These workers are truly wonderful, even the hosts! Thank y’all for making my birthday special! P.S. - the gator tails were AMAZING
