Amazing restaurant rich in Tampa history. A Tampa icon and a must if you are visiting. Our server Austin provided excellent service ensuring our party of nine was well taken care of. An absolute gem!, Fantastic way to celebrate our anniversary! We went for dinner and the Flamenco dance show. We were sat in the front row and were presented a card for our anniversary. Wait staff was never far away. Provided excellent historical stories about the Cuban culture and cigar industry. Very educational and tasty evening. We tried the devil croquettes, the 1905 original salad, and 2 amazing dishes. Dessert was outstanding and we also took one home for later. We will come again when family visits., Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service! This restaurant has a lot of history & an amazing menu. Drinks were delicious as was the food. Great price for the amount of food we got. If you're anywhere near here stop in and try it. Worth the wait to get in., Great restaurant with a lot of history and the service is top-notch. Some of the dishes fell short for me. They’ll start you off with your own personal fresh bread, nice and warm with whipped butter. Next, we had a salad prepared at the side of the table, which was actually very good, but you have to
like iceberg lettuce, which I do. We also added shrimp to our salad. Then we had charred octopus, which was good but not great. Our main entrée...we shared seafood paella. I love paella and I make it myself , this fell short for me. Thank God they had hot sauce because I felt like it wasn’t authentically seasoned. The ambience was very nice and if you come to Tampa, you have to come to this place because it’s such a staple.
