My first time dining at The Pearl. Overall the experience was good but I was left hoping for a bit more. We loved the deviled eggs, spoon cornbread and garlic shrimp. The smoked salmon was good but not exceptional. The fish and chips were fishy (which I cannot stand) with fries that lacked crispiness. The beet salad was good but not exceptional. They gave me a piece of pie to celebrate my birthday and the chocolate peanut butter did not disappoint. Given I don't live downtown and the difficulty of accessing Water Street and parking, I doubt I'll make a return trip but am glad I tried it., When in a mood for seafood, the name of this place couldn’t be more fitting: The Pearl, what a gem!
Loved the ambiance and decor of the place, service was outstanding and genuine, and the food? Oh my… we just KNOW we HAVE TO come back, SUPERB!
The N’awlins style oysters were, simply put, D E C A D E N T , and THANK YOU for the bread that came with them, YUMMM!
Your beets salad is ALSO one of the best I’ve tried around Florida, and your clam chowder is the second best I have ever tried since my days working for another fine dining seafood place.
Patrons: you REALLY DON’T want to leave without trying their brown sugar pie… 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤯
A definite come back spot!, Great ambience for a glass of wine and appetizer
We tried the smoked salmon ,The Tater Tots and the Jalapeno Corn spoon Bread ..Highly recommend the Tater tots and the Jalapeno Corn spoon Bread.
The Cab was quite smooth and reasonably priced.
In the main dish I had the Hanger Steak. It was juicy and the rice underneath it had a nice flavor. Definitely an item to order again
There are some parking around the block.
Overall a good place to grab a drink and some appetizers, Great restaurant with a lot of tasty seafood, exceptional staff, and a cultivated fine dining experience. Service was quick and accommodating. The interior and exterior design of the restaurant are exceptional. You don’t feel too crowded and can enjoy your meal together well with your company in an upscale Southern, coastal themed restaurant. There are a lot of seafood selections and many of the dishes have a southern twang as well. The deviled eggs were delicious and came on a cute egg scale. Very enjoyable dining experience, will be back to try it again., The service was incredible—special shoutout to Devin, who was amazing! The food was fantastic; we ordered nearly all the appetizers and were completely satisfied. However, the baked oysters were a bit of a letdown; I’ve had better elsewhere. The location is perfect too, right on Water Street.
