We loved the atmosphere and the menu selections. Our waitress was a bit slow which was unfortunate. Still had good service by everyone though. We thought the meatballs were way too spicy and the butter as well- when I finally got the waitress’s attention to get regular butter for the awesome bread it was frozen. Had to send it back to have it melted. The seafood sausage and pasta was amazing! The chop salad was also so good!! Dessert was the Banana Trifle also very good! Overall it was a great dinner!, We came to Flora Fina for date night and had a wonderful time. It is very nice and spacious inside. Our service was excellent. They are starting Tapas Tuesday, and we enjoyed a few for appetizers. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The churro sundae for dessert ended the evening perfectly., Wonderful ambiance, eloquent decor, great service, tasteful music selection, and excellent food. I had been wanting to come here for some time and we finally made it with some good friends of ours. Everyone in our party was delighted with the experience from the moment we walked through the door. It’s a combination of hip, yet low key. There were plenty of large groups but also folks on dates having a quiet time. There is a wonderful lounge space with a plethora of choices for sitting down if you don’t want to have full dinner service. The bar is very big and beautiful with what appears to be a great licor selection. They happened to keep the spirit local with the choice of light fixtures, the rooster at bar entrance, and an incredible room called the Teddy Roosevelt room. I highly suggest you check that room out even if you don’t dine there. Our waitress and the staff were very helpful, informative, and jovial. The food…. Everything was excellent, except the gritz that came with the ribs. It was very watered down due to the sauce, but when we spoke to the manager, he graciously provided a full replacement meal to go and free dessert. We will definitely be going back, probably for brunch. I’m sure it will be delightful. Cheers!, Brunch Review: We frequent the bar at Flor Fina and decided to give the restaurant a try. *Horribly slow, poor service.* We waited for 30 minutes for our drinks to be brought to the table, as we watched our cocktails dying in the bar well with no one caring to deliver. No napkin or water was brought to our son. We also needed an extra fork which wasn't delivered until after we received the food--even though we specifically asked for an extra napkin and fork upon ordering 40 minutes prior. It was not busy and most of the time our server was nowhere to be seen. A manager stopped by to apologize for the poor service. However, it seems no feedback was relayed to said server as, after concluding our meal, we waited 15 minutes before flagging down a different team member to find our server so we could check out. There was a strong sense of apathy, lack of accountability and poor teamwork. We were severely disappointed. Food was excellent! We will be back but probably will sit at the bar as service is always attentive there., I visited this restaurant for brunch with friends. Although the menu is quite limited, we enjoyed the drinks and the very cozy atmosphere. The service is excellent. I particularly enjoyed my mojito made with Venezuelan rum and, for the main course, a burger with a side salad that was very fresh.
