First off, wow. This restaurant was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly. Above that, it wasn’t crazy expensive. We got the bread appetizer, two pasta entrees, and a desert for under $100 after tip. The bread was absolutely delicious! I got the gnocchi pesto and it was very good. It had tons of flavor and really tasted fresh. We also got the guava sorbet and it was very good as well. All around this restaurant was delicious and not over priced., Forget that this restaurant has a Michelin star, just for a regular dinner spot, this was a disappointment. The pasta was undercooked, we couldn’t even finish the 32 ounce wagyu special, not because of the size, but the taste. We tried a little bit of everything, hoping it would get better. If I have to chose a positive, the server was pleasant and the beet salad was good., I recently dined at "Rocca," a cozy and elegant restaurant tucked away in the heart of the city. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and modern Italian tasteful decor that set the stage for a delightful evening. The menu was a culinary masterpiece, offering a blend of classic dishes with innovative creations that showcased chef Bryce’s creativity. Each dish beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. I especially enjoyed the aged beef carpaccio, a perfect balance of savory, salt and acid, that left me craving more. The Bluefin Tuna Crudo was exceptionally executed and creative. The service was impeccable, John was our server and he knew his stuff! He anticipated my every need without ever being intrusive. Before my entree arrived I asked him to pair a glass of wine with my pasta dish and it was perfect. Overall, my experience at Rocca was nothing short of perfect. From the exquisite food to the impeccable service, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a memorable dining experience. Reasons why it’s at Michelin star level. I left feeling satisfied and content, already looking forward to my next visit. If you're looking for a restaurant that excels in every aspect, I highly recommend Rocca for a truly exceptional dining experience., I recently celebrated my birthday at Rocca, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of amazing, with each dish surpassing our expectations in flavor and presentation. The menu offered a delightful variety, making it a tough decision to choose just one meal. Our server was exceptional, providing impeccable service throughout the evening. At one point, we were torn between two dishes, and to our astonishment, the server brought us an additional meal so we could enjoy both! This gesture truly made our dining experience special and memorable. Every detail of the evening was perfect, from the warm, inviting atmosphere to the carefully crafted dishes that tantalized our taste buds. Rocca made my birthday celebration unforgettable, and I will definitely be back to savor more of their culinary delights. Highly recommended!, Absolutely enjoyed everything about Rocca! I was there to celebrate a birthday dinner and it was also my first time. Our waitress was attentive, explained the menu, and provided recommendations that did not disappoint. We also had two small items sent to us as compliments of the Chef, which was quite a nice touch to our dining experience. For starters we tried their bread and the pork arrosticini, which was absolutely delicious! Very tender, flavorful, perfect portion size - highly recommend. We then had the agnolotti pasta - if you like to eat, then this is not a shareable portion. Very flavorful, a bit spicy, and quite rich overall. To share we had the dry aged bistecca! It was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside but very tender inside and juicy. It comes with a side of potatoes and greens. For dessert we had the burnt cheesecake. It comes with plantains too and the combination of the two was to die for! Overall - highly recommend. The atmosphere was also great! I personally appreciated the casual/dressy atmosphere and everyone being welcoming and overall attentive.
