I had lunch here the other day on my drive down and tried several things. I loved the atmosphere and decor with the order and pickup window and seat yourself picnic tables all around the property overlooking the marina. We did a grilled seafood platter with fish, shrimp, and lobster. Super fresh and delicious. Crispy and hot. We had some conch fritters and a cup of conch chowder as well as the lobster chowder. The lobster chowder was rich and delicious with a hint of sherry coming through. Very good all around. Fantastic lunch spot. You can easily spot some tarpon in the marina and they have fish food dispensers for the kids. You can also pickup some key lime pie, rum cake, and fresh seafood in the attached market., This place would get a 3 and a half, better than a 3, too generic for a 4.
We visited for a Saturday Lunch, small line that moved quickly.
We had fried food, so this review is limited. Cracked Conch better that others, fish fingers over done.
Coleslaw very generic, a little dry, no celery seeds, not to our taste.
One visits this place for the atmosphere not so much for the food. Nothing about the food makes this place a standout.
We’ve visited this area for 30yrs now, back then this place was a must, but there weren’t as many choices as there are now.
I give it a half-hearted recommendation, for a new comer to experience the waterside dining.
No table service, order at the window, they call you for pick-up. Picnic table seating, not so good if you have mobility issues.
Great place for the sunset!!, Cute little place right on the water, boats were pulling up to dock for lunch while we were there. Had the blackened mahi sandwich, good flavor on the fish but it got lost with the lettuce and tomato, might have to try it again on its own. Key lime pie tastes great but they use whip cream from a can 😔. They're known for their lobster Reuben but it's a bit out of my price range. Saw a couple of people get it while we were there, looked good. Nice fish market attached, got some grouper to cook at home., Honestly no complaints here. Even with a long line, this place is efficient. There is plenty of picnic style seating with views of the ocean and marina. Everything we tried on the menu was great. I would especially recommend the coconut shrimp and stone crab claws. They also have a great selection of beer, wine, and fun mixed drinks., Great, low key place to get fresh seafood and good drinks at a decent price! There is a big menu on the wall, and also a board with specials. You order your food, then go around the corner to get drinks. Lots of fun drink options plus the standard stuff and beer. We ordered conch fritters, coconut shrimp, peel and eat shrimp, grouper bolt and lobster bisque. Everything was made on the spot, fresh, great sauces. The only thing I would improve is the bisque was a little too thick and a tad bland. But I still think this is well worth the stop. Plus there is great watching with boats, pelicans and seagulls for entertainment. There is also a shanty bar on stilts, I don’t know if it is a separate place but you can take your food up there. I would highly recommend this place.
