I just want to start by saying Lindsay was our waitress and she killed it. She had a massive table plus three other tables and our drinks were never dry and our food came out steaming hot. She is a frigging rockstar at this place. The food is very good but it seemed everything but the shrimp pot needed a bit of salt. If you’re looking for a sweet drink, the only thing I discovered was the Bahama mama. The rest it the drinks were awesome but weren’t sweet (grape pink lemonade, fruit punch rum, and another I can’t remember). We had: Lobster + shrimp Mac and cheese (holy **** you need to get this and add a little salt) Burger and fries (nothing to write home about but good for our picky eater) Crab stuffed hog fish (it was very good. The sauce was great but we wish we had more. It’s more of a hog fish on top of crab cakes instead of stuffed but was still good. The veg that came with it were just the frozen broccoli etc steamed) The shrimp boil (only on Sundays but was really good. Cooked perfectly and quite filling. Didn’t realize it came with cornbread which was a pleasant surprise), Hogfish is always at the light to go to food is fresh. The location is close to Key West and everybody is friendly. Definitely definitely a local favor as I grew up in the Florida Keys. This will be a place love to go to if you’re tourist you would really enjoy the food, One of our favorite local spots... which may not be so local anymore 😉 been bringing our fresh catch in to have them cook it up for years. Love the lobster biscue soup, it's a must have! Restaurant sits facing some parked boats on the water with inside " open air" and outside seating. They always do a great job cooking our fish , fried, grilled and blackened. Even better when they have coconut batter available! If you do not bring in your own catch, they menu is fantastic. I love the hogfish sandwich! We will be back again soon!, What an awesome hidden gem. You would not know it was there if doneness didn't tell you. But the food was amazing, tasty, and delicious. The drinks were strong and cold, and Heather was a great server. We had hog fish sandwiches and tacos, steamed shrimp, and conch fritters, and everything was amazing. You HAVE TO STOP in and visit this restaurant., This place was absolutely fantastic. We are here twice while we stayed on Stock Island. It was an easy walk from the condos by the marina and the food and atmosphere was perfect for the keys. I loves all the license plates and stickers from all over the place. We ordered almost everything on the menu between the two times we went. The grouper cheeks are great. You have to get hogfish of course. The sandwich was fantastic fried and blackened. The combo of the cheese and mushrooms with the fish and tomato, lettuce, and pickle just goes perfect together on the soft fresh bread. The tuna nachos were also a crowd favorite. The pull and peel shrimp were huge and succulent. There was a good selection of draft and canned beer here. I will recommend this place to anyone. Not a single thing missed. The soups were also delicious.
