Sarah (our waitress) was fantastic, attentive, but didn't hover. She also made some great suggestions. We got the Pork Chops with Black Rice ... amazing! And the creamed corn/grits were out of this world! They were the best grits I have had since my last trip to New Orleans. Not pictured is the picanha steak that Lori got, which she also loved. Apologies for the images. We took a few bites before I snapped pictures. We were hungry & it smelled great!, First, the service from Jany was excellent. The restaurant is currently working with broken A/c in parts if not all of the restaurant so in my opinion the staff is doing a tremendous job of putting for effort despite the environment. Hopefully that problem will be resolved soon. This was our first visit here and we had a good experience. Take note that the menu does change seasonally so some items may not be available during your visit. I ordered the Picahna Steak. It was a tad salty but otherwise very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the fries that came with it and I was very happy with the portion size provided. Others in our group ordered the eggplant flatbread and the mushroom flatbread. Both were pleased with their food. They also had a neat looking area in the back with some seating and corn hole. Lastly, the bathrooms were very nice. Large and clean. I would return to the restaurant once the A/c gets fixed., Great place to lunch or dine Easy accessibility and we'll lit. Lots of parking. Smaller menu and meduimed to higher menu. Something for everybody. Huge bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Service is great. Abby helped and did a awesome job of entertainment and presenting the establishment well. Lots of seating and good atmosphere all around. Kid friendly. Only take was refills are not free. You do have pay for them. 6inch glasses don't last long. Would recommend that refills are not full price each time. Highly recommended, What a lovely restaurant! We celebrated Father's day late. The oysters were on sale half price and we were so happy! Thursday for oysters. Other days have specials too. After reading about the Cheeseburger, we had to try it! They were right, we have never had a better burger, with or without cheese. The steak was good, the burger was Great. Salad was good but the Key Lime Pie was sensational! We were going to share but once I tasted it, I just ordered another for my husband. He loved it too so we got another to take home. Maybe next time we will go fir the Lunch Box. It looks wonderful. So creative., How can one person spend over 50$ on food and drinks and still leave hungry? I really want to like this food but there is so little of it for the price. The drinks were delicious and service was absolutely amazing. Never mind the AC was broken and the portable units couldn't keep up making it a weee bit toasty while we were there.
