We're visiting from Colorado and this location had excellent food quality and the portions were filling. The service was friendly and Manny answered all our questions. We loved that we got to enjoy our dinner without being interrupted every few minutes and Manny always walked by to make sure we didn't need anything. Perfect Spanish laid back feel. The braised short ribs were voted the best by our family and the flan did not disappoint. Thank you Manny!, The ambience here is nice, and the dishes were great (albeit needing a bit more salt). I recommend the sea bass and their cocktails, and appreciate the vegan options available on their menu. Unfortunately though, the service was abysmal with very slow service (20m+ between table visits, without being busy whatsoever). In addition, I ordered a drink that I did not like (my fault, was happy to pay for it but wanted another) and had to be questioned by the manager why I didn’t like it after already telling my waitress about it. To top it all off, we of course tipped more than 18% (it was 4 people), but our waitress stopped us on the way out asking what was wrong with the service in a way that alluded to us not “giving enough” of a tip. I understand restaurant service wage needs to be improved and they rely on tips, but stopping a guest on their way out after trying to treat ourselves to a fancy dinner and paying what we felt was more than fair is an unprofessional look. I don’t think I’ll ever come back, but hopefully others get a better service when they visit!, Let’s start with their weird times. We weren’t sure what time this place closed. Google said 8, their website had two different closing times, 8 and 9. I asked the waiter about that and he said that sometimes they close early if the place is slow (oh so you’re struggling, we should have ran then). We were a group of 6 and the waiter was aware that we were celebrating a birthday. Most of us ordered the paella- 3 seafoods and 2 meats. One friend ordered the lobster bisque and we also ordered the chicken thia egg rolls. The eggrolls were not that good- they had a big piece of dry chicken and a dollop of what tasted like straight peanut butter on top. Gross. Now comes the main dishes- in less than 20 minutes our paellas were served (which I thought odd, since paellas usually need at the very least 20 min to cook). —And later in my review I’ll mention a replaced meat paella , it was replaced for the fish paella and that was out in under 10 min.— For entrees, just under $40 we were expecting some good paella. The two friends who ordered the meat paellas said the rice tasted sour and the meat wasn’t good either. They both returned their plates. The fish paella was alright but the white fish was not appetizing, some clams tasted weird. Out of the 4 fish paellas (one meat was replaced for a fish) only 1 person finished their dish. To be honest, the dishes tasted as though they came out of a frozen bag and were microwaved. Which is unacceptable for $36 plates. The lobster bisque tasted more like a thick cheese soup. Also gross and was turned back to the kitchen. Total of 3 dishes were returned and you would think the manager would come out and say something to us but not once did a manager come to apologize. The waiter we had was nice. You could tell his frustration a bit when the 3rd plate was returned but he did his best to keep his composure. Unfortunately he totally forgot we were celebrating a birthday. The desserts we purchased (2 for our table) should have been comped for all the food issues. The desserts and drinks were the only good thing from this place. Drinks were a bit expensive though! Glass of red wine starts at $16 ! But that’s fine, we were celebrating. unfortunately we left with upset stomachs, bloated and a horrible taste for this restaurant we were trying out. Oh and the friend who tried the meat paella then the fish one got sick the next day and was constantly in the restroom. High prices for terrible food. I’m sorry to say but we don’t plan to return. My bill was $98 for just myself and I regret spending every dollar of that there., Went for New Year’s Eve. It was a pre fixe menu. I wish they would have told us that when we made the reservation. Strike 1. The water had stuff floating in it. They explained the water needed to “settle”. Strike 2. We ordered drinks and they said they ran out of an ingredient needed to make the drinks. An hour after they opened? Strike 3. We left. Too bad. The menu we saw online looked good., Extremely disappointed. Went to celebrate one of our friend’s birthday. Service was great. Jorge did an excellent job. Food was terrible, I originally ordered meat paella and tasted like it went bad. It had a funny smell & taste was sour. Waiter took it back and brought me a seafood paella and it was the same. Fish was chewy and mussels tasted horrible. Two of us returned the meat paella and another friend returned the Lobster Bisque. Manager didn’t even bother to come to our table after we returned 3 plates. Worst part when I got home I had a terrible stomachache and I have been running to the bathroom since then.
