We love coming here for special occasions and we just came for my birthday Saturday. Victor was the best server and made our entire experience! We can’t wait til next time! Try the espresso martini with anejo instead of traditional vodka, it is great!, It was really just ok at best but the snapper was NOT good. The sauce was great but the filet was odd, chewy and seemed like it was not the proper part of the fish to eat Service was fine but very little character and talk from the server I think he was a new kid. I won’t go back - too many other good restaurants and for $400 bucks I feel a bit robbed, Always a favorite. Were there with three other couples for the early bird special. I had the fig salad (generic term) and scallops with pasta. Mmmm yummy., Probably one of my favorite restaurants along 5th Avenue. The service is always consistent and what I love most is you never need a reservation. They don’t act annoyed when you walk up without a reservation and they get you right in on most nights. I’ve been coming for probably 15 years and I’ve never had a bad meal. I Highly recommend it and will definitely continue to patronize Alberto’s. Great job to the owners, chef and staff., Amazing service, wonderful atmosphere, food was very good not outstanding. service quality definitely makes up for it though. The lobster salad appetizer was wonderful though very shallow and apparent in flavors (sauces didn’t pop out) The pesto pasta was wonderful and amazing in taste. The pesto and fish complimented wonderfully, cherry tomatoes added a missing detail that tied it all together. Seafood special pasta was rich in flavor. 10/10 if you’ve enjoyed similar pastas before.
