We booked online and dined inside. Restaurant is amazingly beautiful. Food was awesome as was the service by Vanessa. They even altered my meal as I am kind of a picky eater. Even the busser was great. Negatives, it’s loud. I mean , with the acoustics, you have to raise your voice to carry on a conversation. Then they sat us near the bathroom for our first visit and there was a constant stream of people standing in line by our table… But the food and service was so good we would make the drive from Ft Myers again. just dine outside., The chef's menu was delicious!!! Appetizer: Eggplant Entrée: Swordfish PERFECT Dessert: Profiteroles 🤤 The drink was a cocktail INVERNO, so good too! I fell in love with this place 🫶🏽, Drinks were good. Food was good. Service was good. Good experience all the way around. They gladly let us have our dog at an outside table. We went there right after the Pets on 3rd parade. Our server Logan was great., Wonderful meal and great service. Really nice staff and upbeat, friendly atmosphere. Eggplant appetizer was delicious and really enjoyed the short rib ravioli. For sure get the crème brûlée if you’re a fan. Highly recommend!, Barbatella is centrally located on third street with two separate areas that surround a courtyard and fountain. One area is dedicated to Gelato with overflow seating for the restaurant, while the other is a small restaurant bar area. The outdoor area makes up the majority of the seating for the establishment and is usually busy while seats inside are easy to come by. I prefer the decor on the inside and especially appreciate the designs on the ceiling - the service is also a little better in my experience. On my last visit, the service was outstanding - very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. All of the food came out in a timely manner and was prepared as ordered. Everything was fresh and made with quality ingredients. I'll be back!
