The place is run down. The birds look depressed. I am a woman, how do you have a Mobile restroom for a water park? It was the most unsanitary experience ever. I will be making a video soon to show expectations VS reality. The Emu had no water. He was walking in filth. And maybe invest in a new umbrella for these parrots? I spent over 120$ in food for 3 people. I'm sure you guys can afford to treat the animals with respect. I also purchased my tickets online thinking I'd be able to get in with no hassle. Either way you have to wait in line with people who have not purchased their tickets or filled out the waiver. I was also denied paying cash. Only credit or debit. This place is a joke. My 5 year old was extremely disappointed., I was looking forward to visiting this place, and enjoy the sloth 🦥 encounter, but unfortunately due to the rain and thunderstorm we were not able to do it since the sloths are not in the greatest mood. We walked around the park but with the rain we were not able to enjoy it. I definitely will come back when the weather is better. The staff at Jungle Island were extremely nice and accommodating, I really appreciate it the treatment., This place is so fun. It’s good if you just want a shorter zoo day. I would say it’s like an hour or two that can be spend here if the other activities aren’t done. The tree top trekking is really what I believe would be worth coming for as that extends the trip a little more & it seems like the adults have fun with it., Animals are kept nicely. Employees are knowledgeable. I was fortunate to use the free tickets they offer on the Jungle Island website. Now, here's the kicker. Unless you pay a minimum of $60 per person for encounters, you won't be able to do much. Ziplining is an additional $10 to the free ticket. I missed out at that moment. Parking in the garage was $15. The place is rather small, we saw everything in less than 2 hours. It was a nice experience, but I really wouldn't consider going again. Also, keep this in mind when you go. It was once called Parrot Jungle and there's a reason behind it. There are food trucks inside and of course, costly. Just like everything else during this inflation time. If you see glance through my pictures; I just saved you a trip., We enjoyed our day at Jungle Island🌴. We spent the whole day. There was so much to see 👀 and do. Then, after seeing all the animals🦥🦘, birds🦜🦩, and sea🐊🐢🦎 life. We spent the rest of the day at the water park there (Splash Island). Thanks for a great day. ☺️
