A great place to enjoy the beauty of nature. There are multiple tropical gardens from different countries, I have seen from Japan, Thailand, The Bahamas, Cuba, Florida, Tropical Asia etc. with informative signs. There are also nice lakes with red eared sliders and other species of lizards and green iguanas. I recommend not visiting here during mid-day on summer days since the humid and hot weather is harsh especially going here. Going here is free by the way. Overall, it's a great location and I think you must see this place during your visit to Miami or Miami Beach., I'm so glad we stopped by on our vacation! Easy to navigate with plenty of shaded paths and seating. They have a Welcome Center/Botanical Boutique with souvenirs, snacks, and drinks. Bathrooms on site. Handicap accessible. Please consider leaving a donation since they're a non-profit organization, and entry is FREE!, Beautiful place in the middle of the city to take a moment to just pause! Free entry and street parking (meaning paid parking). I had no problem finding a spot close by. Another plus is they are dog friendly! Loved seeing the turtles, fish, and even found a chicken roaming around. The grounds are kept beautifully. This is a really special place. My dog enjoyed rolling her way around the park in the plush green grass. Loved learning about all the trees and plants. Definitely reccomend visiting!, The garden was within walking distance from our hotel. There were a few entrances along the canal to get in. What a beautiful little garden! They had few water features, Japanese garden, little trails, restrooms and little boutique that sold few drinks and things. Dogs are allowed on lease, they accept donations and the best part, it’s free!! You can also follow the canal path right out to the Holocaust Memorial which is also free and very touching., Pretty dmn cool that this place offers free entrance. It is not very big but has its vibe. You can spot a couple of types of lizards, birds and butterflies around every corner. There are a couple of benches next to pretty fountains and ponds full of colorful fishes. Definitely worth visiting. Perfect for a chill time with a good book.
