The Torch of Friendship is a monument of a high-raised torch located in Miami in Bayside Park on Biscayne Boulevard. If you want to see an eternal flame in action you can visit the site. The flame was built in 1960 it symbolizes a friendly sign from the state of Florida to Latin America and all countries of the Caribbean as a friendly greeting for all new and old immigrants to the nation. And, later in 1964 it was re-dedicated to the memory of President John F. Kennedy, the greatest president that ever lived. Friendships are a powerful force that can provide us with a sense of belonging and peace., Judging by the inscription on the left side it must be dedicated to the memory of JFK. Lots of beggars and homeless at night. Just nearby stands a monument of Juan De Ponce - Spanish discoverer of Florida. Shame on Google Map that its not listed on G Maps., Nice monument in downtown. Very close to Bayside., The Real Name on the side right is Plaza Simon Bolivar, Attach the picture . The Liberator of South America. Excelent for Know About Latin American History, Arts and Hispanic Culture., A good place to protest 🪧
