For Miami Zoo I highly recommend getting the annual pass. Essentially pays for its self in 2 visits. The have a golf cart which you pay $3 per person and they drive you all around the zoo to see all the animals. One thing I love the most is the splash area, it is the highlight of the zoo and friendly to all ages. One thing that I did not like and was mainly the only thing it was just the friendliness of the employees all and any of them had issues when we would ask for help and or anything in general. The only person that had patience was the tour guide on the golf cart. The best part for the parents in my opinion is the indoor museum they have inside. It is full blast AC along with games and activities to keep the kiddos occupied for a bit as you cool off yourself and hide from the sun, You can enjoy many animals, but be prepared to walk a lot to between them. I was honestly expecting more variety. My favorite thing was the koala 😍 They have carts to rent, which I would highly recommend if you’re going with kids. Free parking!, I so enjoyed this zoo! So many animals and different species. Super hot day but I saw all the animals! Tram ride perfect do this first. Boat ride fun. Paddle boats an option. Lots of mobile options to navigate zoo. So many options for kiddos to ride, get wet at water park and have an interactive experience! I went as a solo adult and had a full relaxing day - got in almost 10k steps!, Loved the experience, huge zoo so better to plan for a full day. We went in on Monday and when we scanned the discount code at the counter it was only $15 for each adult as long as we bought online which was cool because it turned out to be cheaper than the day before. If you in town and want to go there lots get the annual pass as it about $86 bucks for 2 adults for a full year but if just a day get the individual pass. Lots to see, staff was friendly and would like to say a special thank you to Chantae that went out of her way to help my wife and I to find our way around the zoo., Impressive zoo! This place is HUGE! It’s almost a necessity to rent one of the bicycle taxis or scooters, otherwise you won’t be able to enjoy as much as this place as to offer. I recommend reserving a bike online in advance. The whole process is very easy. There were a few things that weren’t operating or available, specifically the boat ride through the wetlands exhibit, that we were looking forward to. However the animal habitats were very good and we saw many wonderful creatures. would visit this zoo again.
