I’m an Architect one of the main reasons for me wanting to see the Pérez Art Museum unfortunately it was closed due to a photographing event that took place during my visit. Still I was able to appreciate the architecture and the landscape. Got some really good drone footage and share this space with my wife and son. Definitely have to make another visit to see inside the museum. By the way my middle name is Pérez 😂, With a flight scheduled for the evening and rainy weather limiting activities to indoor options, Zhang Ge's top choice is definitely the art museum. The ticket prices are the same online and in-person, so there's no need to buy tickets online. In fact, buying online still requires you to queue up at the venue to exchange tickets, which can be quite inconvenient 😫. The museum offers free guided tours, and the artworks are fascinating pieces that everyone interprets differently. I was very fortunate to meet many like-minded people during the tour and to our surprise, the director himself gave the tour. What a privilege! ✌🏼, Moderate sized museum with a substantial art collection. Stunning garden with major scale sculptures. Beautiful view of the cruise ships in the bay. You may find out the parking structure is full. Parking is $20., All the art was carefully selected. They had many different rooms for different artists. Each room was beautiful, some related to more serious topics while others were whimsical. It was a quiet and calming environment. They also have a store where I bought a cute board game and deck of cards. I would go again., The Perez art museum had an event called "Masquerave" for teens + families and when we arrived it was on the outdoor patio(going up the steps initially it's all the way down the left,we had to look where we were going because we didn't see much signs between Perez and the Frost museum on the right). Walk over and had several tables/stations with different activities like mask decorating, tarot reading, photo booth and a henna station. There was also a DJ and my daughter got her wrist band for the kids section because food was provided for them, there was also a well stocked bar with very reasonably priced drinks (Paloma cocktail for $10)...I'll update when I next visit inside the museum but I loved it and the gift shop is beautiful with beautiful things, they always have events that are family friendly and more people should go and check it out 🎭
