Iconic, remarkable area, the heart of downtown Miami., Beautiful place to walk the dog while staying in nearby hotel. Also, it is a very historical place and nice to take a minute to think about how much this place has changed in last few years. Made me wonder if we're actually going to comfort the issue of climate change or if we're just going to watch this beautiful city - like home to me - slowly flood more and more untill only GOD knows, maybe the pain in the as car valet lines will become canals for boat ferries, This is an area of Downtown Miami which has been preserved as an archeological site, where remaints of the earliest Miami peoples were found. Now it is a park and promenade, with trees and benches by the Miami river. There is a small kid's area where kids leaving school relax a bit., Very cool place to witness when it rains, you can see the tiles from above where wooden poles would go for the woodhenge.
The big question is, where is the temple? Most henges have temples near them., One of the most beautiful spots in Miami! Must have a stroll around this area. (Look for Manatee crossing from the river to the bay)
