Took the family to Riverwalk last night for the 1st time. We will definitely return. So many amazing places to see and things to do. From the water taxis to the floating Tiki Bars, and the sidewalk performers created an amazing atmosphere. Just be aware that you share the sidewalk with bikes, scooters and skateboards. Some of them have a tendency to speed and blare music., Beautiful walk around the course of the river. Signs all over and historical busts with I formation line the beautiful, wide path it is very well spaced and lit and easily travelled and feels completely safe. There are so many cool things to look at and shop and very cool eateries. You pass many interesting buildings and park areas and the theatre if performing arts, children’s museum and Tampa museum of art. Great walking pathway under shade it in the sun. Wonderful layout beautiful and pleasant walk., Great place to walk with or without a dog. We have been going there for years and seen a lot of good upgrades. The big problem that we have are bicyclist riding past people with no regard to safety. During big events bicyclist should not be allowed on the the RiverWALK. No all cyclists are courteous to those of us who walk there and my wife was almost runned over by one of them., Very nice walking path along the water. We even saw dolphins swim by. Restrooms were closed for some reason., It is a pretty and popular place, but honestly I was rather disappointed by what is there to do. In my experience it was just a nice paved path, next to the river without much to do or see. Again....it is not a bad place, or a waste of time, but it is something rather simple and a bit on the dull side.
