Honestly, it's pretty cool if your expectations are in check! It's not a BEACH beach, but you can swim, there's a playground, nice sand and an incredible place to watch the sunset over the water. Also, you can watch planes land VERY close to where you are. They fly right overhead. Great for kids, families, or a date! You can see traffic and the highway, so it's not secluded, but pretty quiet and beautiful still. There's a volleyball court and some other nice things as well. Parking is easy, plenty of spots. About 20 minutes from downtown Tampa! Handicap accessible, A perfect getaway sunset beach where u can see take offs and landings but the water isn’t clean enough to take a dip, still doable. There is a lovely playground for kids and a picnic area too, don’t forget to get ur bug spray!!! PS: if lucky enough u might spot some dolphins too.Btw dogs not allowed at the beach!!!, It's a nice beach located in an area behind an office complex...a hidden gem. There are several pavilions, a playground, accessible restrooms, and a nice boardwalk. The airport is nearby so you see lots of up close plane landings...pretty neat to view., Its a very cute and cozy place. It's not huge but good enough place for a weekend walk or picnic. The beach on the side is cherry on top of cake. Very relaxing and calming vibe. Can go for a walk at this beach everyday. Water is pretty clean too., It's a good city beach, unfortunately trash is everywhere. Found nails, broken glass, etc. It does have an okay walking path. Parking wasn't bad on a weekday around noon. Planes fly low overhead (for all the Caribbean Island enthusiasts that enjoy that).
