This museum offers a great variety of activities for kids, both indoors and outdoors. We spent the entire day here, from opening to closing, and managed to see everything. The entrance fees are reasonable at $10 per child and $14 per adult. However, additional activities such as the Planetarium, Mini Golf, Ropes Course, and Virtual Reality come with an extra charge of $8 per participant. My kids enjoyed the ropes course the most.
One downside was the limited food options. There was only a vending machine near the entrance and a single food truck outside with a small, pricey menu. Our meal of two kids' chicken strip meals and a Brussels sprouts appetizer with sodas cost $40. Fortunately, you can bring your own lunch, which I would recommend., Overall a pretty fun, quick trip especially with their current traveling exhibit of Lego dinosaurs which is the coolest part of the museum. The moon experience is easy to miss since it's tucked into the wall but has some fun activities as well with activities scattered throughout the muesuem. Definitely a great place to bring younger kids but is still fun for adults as well, This was a great place, and exceeded my expectations. If I knew I would have bought planetarium tickets early. It was sold out. But there was a lot to do and had a lot of fun. I have been to other science museums but this one was the best and the kids spent time on the activities. The entrance fee was good and not too much to do the extra activities., Fun place for the kids. Interactive displays and exhibitions provide entertaining ways for kids to better understand complex ideas and begin to appreciate the sciences. There are also fun games and other activities in the courtyard. There is a nice little gift shop at the entrance. I would recommend going in the middle of the week versus weekends to avoid larger crowds., Great way to spend a day with the family. We arrived around 1pm and stayed until after the 4pm Planetarium show finished. The Planetarium show is an add-on, and so is the ropes course. Our kids had a great time on the ropes course, and the Planetarium was a nice break from the heat and noise
