We went for my son’s 4th birthday and it was a blast ! We were able to get $3 tickets with our EBT card, so it definitely helps when you’re low on money and still want to do something special ! We were there for around 3 hours but was steadily moving to each exhibit. So you can definitely take longer. Went here as a kid and it’s always been 5 Stars!, My kids are 9,7,5, and 1. There was something for all of them to do and enjoy. The center was clean and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend coming here on a hot or rainy day when you need to get out of the house! Or any day! What a cool place. Make sure you see the fish and animals too!, A great place to go to explore for kids and adults alike.
This is located on the north side of 527 (Princeton Street) just to the east of I-4. There are some surface parking lots or a parking garage across the street for a fee. My visit cost me about $15 for parking but allowed for a 3rd-floor entrance into the Science Center. The cost for tickets was about $25/person with discounts for lots of groups (Senior, AAA, Veteran, etc). The staff was very nice throughout the center. There is a lot to see and the Cinedome (Imax-type) movies are included with the tickets on a space-available basis. There is a lot to see and most of it is focused on children and the curious. This latest visit had a makerspace called the Hive, a dinosaur exhibit, an earth/space area, a kinetic zone, and an art exhibit. I got to see the movie Journey to Space about the space shuttle. Each of the areas had a lot of hands-on parts for people to experience science, physics and mental/physical acuity. There was a lot to do and see. Overall, it was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it for visitors to the area., We LOVE the science center the best way to go is to get a family membership!!! We like to go during the week when there isn't as many people. We just don't like how early they close. But they always have new things going on. My two year old ALWAYS has fun!, Fun museum. I Wish we had known there would be so many school groups/day camps. We really enjoyed the Ocean cinema but think it might be time to update it. Made in 1993.
