We visited the park first during the "After hours" on Monday and then again during regular time on Friday. We could sit in many rides without queue in After hours.
So I would suggest if possible, book after hours. You are only going to miss a few rides. We could ride Tron also.
During regular hours, there were a lot of people. But the crowd management was excellent. The average waiting time was around 15 minutes. Download the My Disney experience app. It is very useful.
Also during regular days, you have to book slot for "Tron" through the app.
The fireworks was amazing.
Overall a lifetime experience for all., The park is beautiful and fun. There are a lot of rides and character encounters.
I recommend going in early to have the most amount of time to enjoy the attractions.
It is stressful to plan to go to this park because you need to have everything planned by the minute to get your money worth. The price is high and they charge for parking as well., 1st time I visited as a teen as a class trip, this time I visited as a adult with my 5 year old daughter and some church families. We had an absolute blast! memories made check boxes checked! My daughter finally got to see the castle with her own eyes. The park was very large and we did encounter some rain but overall we had fun. Will definitely be going back there are some places we didn't get to checkout and some places I would like to check out again. Park was full and lines were pretty long we might just do the lightening pass next time around., This park will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved coming here as I was growing up, and I think I love it even more so now as an adult and mother. I get to enjoy so much of my childhood and my children's childhood. There is so much to do here ever being a pass holder for two years and coming here for 30 i still find new things. Even when coming here at rope drop and staying till park close, I'm never ready to go home as we are having so much fun and still end up having so much we want to do., Magic Kingdom is a very beautiful park. The attractions are well-themed and always fun. There are beautiful shows and the fireworks are lovely to watch. However, the queues are often very long. There is now a new system with a Lightning Lane. American residents get these passes for the Lightning Lane for free, which means many people bypass the regular visitors who have also paid a lot for the admission tickets. This is very frustrating. Often, about 40 people from the Lightning Lane are allowed to go ahead while very few people from the regular line are let through, even though you have already been waiting for more than half an hour. It used to be much better organized, but now it is just disappointing. I never had this issue before and before it was better managed.
Even if you stay in a Disney hotel, you do not get any benefits in the parks. Previously, you would get longer hours and could skip the line for some attractions. Now, you can only stay longer in the parks if you choose one of the very expensive hotels, which I find unacceptable considering we already pay enough for the hotel, park tickets, and food here. You can buy a Lightning Lane pass, but this is usually per attraction and is very expensive.
This issue is not just in Magic Kingdom, but also in the other parks.
