Spent the day at Gatorland and had a blast! There were tons of cool animals and interesting things to learn. Right when you walk in, you get to choose between the park and various events, which is neat. I will say, the pricing felt a bit steep for what you get, but there were definitely some highlights.
Watching the trainers feed whole chickens to the alligators was intense—major props to those brave souls! Besides gators, we saw albino alligators, a variety of birds, and a bunch of other fascinating critters. They’ve really branched out beyond just gators.
My favorite part was the swamp ride through the gator-infested areas. The operators made it super fun and it was a unique experience you won’t find just anywhere.
Overall, I'd give it three stars. It’s worth checking out at least once, but you might not be itching to return until they switch up some of the events. Still, a cool spot to visit!, Had a great day at Gatorland, plenty to see and do.
The park is family friendly, I do recommend going there in any season but the summer, we went in June and it was extremely hot.
Still it's a must to visit if you're in Orlando, Florida.
All the animals are well taken care off and good looking.
The staff are super friendly, and funny to interact with, and are keen to answer any questions.
If you have kids don't forget to bring extra clothes for the splash pad 😅
You’ll see hundreds of gators in proximity but the park is well designed and you’ll be safe.
It's walkable so you won't struggle if you have a stroller with you.
There is alot of activities to do, such as :
- a train ride
- a petting zoo
- a gorgeous aviary
- very impressive shows with gators
- delicious snacks and smoothies at their cafe
- the zip line
A picture with the Gator and on the zip line (but you need to pay for all the photos separately).
There is Plenty of opportunities for taking pictures and thankfully plenty of shade to escape the sun. Strongly recommended for a visit!!, We decided to visit this place with a toddler and a baby on the last day of our trip to Florida. Turned out to be absolutely perfect. Took us 2-2.5h to explore most of it.

The park is so cool and family friendly, with a southern ambiance. Very walkable.
Overall, 10/10. I wish it wasn’t June in Florida because it was pretty hot. They’re trying to help with the heat by placing a lot of fans in numerous locations, but still. Just choose any other season than summer and go, it’s one of my new favorites in Florida and I will be returning for sure.
Last but not least, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we’re enjoying the trip. From shows with performing tricks alongside alligators… to accompanying us on a train ride, to selling us food or keepsakes, everyone was cheerful and friendly. Way to go!, This place is AWESOME and great for people of ALL ages to enjoy. Enough room to walk around so it doesn't feel crowded. The map is super helpful and easy to read. The small shows were fun to watch. Make sure you buy some gator food and feed the big gators!, This was not even on our initial radar when we came to Orlando. It is SO worth taking time for. Their conservation efforts alone are impressive. Add in the sheer number of gators and specific other animals, and it is even more mind blowing. The Leutistic breeding program is amazing!!! Highly recommend putting this outing on your to-see list.
