Absolutely beautiful scenery. The beach is very nice and filled with snail shells. My dog loved walking along the shores of the lake. This is a fantastic place to go for a run and do a lap around the water. We came here many times, it’s free!, This is a great park to enjoy walking around the large lake. The trail is nice to walk with partial sun and shade, excellent parking, playground, restroom,docks, birds and overall scenery around the lake. My husband enjoys fishing in the lake and the canal behind the lake., Thank you to John & Paul!!! These park rangers are truly kind. They both helped my fiancé coordinate and decorate the parks gazebo for my surprise proposal. Thank you both!, Great place to have a family day. You can go swimming, have a bbq, take a walk along the trail, ride on boats, play sports, they have also put in this beautiful butterfly area and it's so relaxing to sit there and read a book and watch the butterflies fly around you. There are bears in the area now. So be careful with little children., Neat park focused on watersports. Sailing, kayaking, and adaptive water-skiing area . Nice beach area and swimming at own risk. Pavilions and piers around the lake as well as walking trail. 1 large playground and 1 smaller one. Central located restrooms. Butterfly garden.
