My family shopped in the boutique yesterday. Out of all the boutiques I’ve shopped on my trip to Miami, this store has the most amazing mix of great designers and fresh merchandise at decent price points. The collection is very well curated if you are looking for unique brands you can’t just walk into any other store and purchase. The owner is very kind and has wonderful knowledge of the merchandise. I don’t live in Miami, but if I did, this would be my go-to place for clothing based on my experience here! As far as the treatment of children, mentioned in a past review, we had our son with us and even he remarked about how kind the people were after we left the store., Shopping here is a great experience! Im not sure if it was the old clerks working there that were a reck, But the manager is a great person with amazing staff. Always attentive, and making sure i had help every step of the way for the wedding i was attending. It makes me so sad to see others had a terrible experience, but i wouldnt give up on this place! Their actually amazing and the quality of clothing is unmatched. Instead of shopping online one by one for my favorite brands. he has them all collectively in the boutique. Yes they asked me to place my coffee on the counter but its understandable! They were very kind and said Thank You For Understanding! He has very expensive clothing and maybe if you trip or spill your coffee by accident youd have to pay for the damage. Id rather set down my drink than pay for a mistake. But this is just my opinion and would continue shopping there everyday!, Kills me to walk past this store all the time because they seem to have nice pieces in the window but they were so rude to myself and my kids (age 10 and 12) - we walked in with closed lid Starbucks cups, mind you they are not age 5, and we were immediately told no drinks and we had to leave them at the counter. I keep a very tight “leash” (so to speak) on my kids in stores and am constantly on their case about watching themselves and would not take them in a store if I was concerned about them spilling or making a mess. I was so offput that I said we’d leave instead and I refuse to go back even though I’m in Coconut Grove all the time. Their stuff seems nice but not THAT nice, it’s not Louis Vuitton for crying out loud. It’s a shame because I prefer to support small businesses and they lost a customer before I even shopped!, Please read reviews before considering shopping here, I wish I had. Disrespectful employees, damaged clothes, waste of money. I purchased a skirt then less than a week after, when I was planning to wear it, I noticed it had a small hole. The next day I went to return it thinking that although I didn't keep the receipt there wouldn't be an issue since I didn't remove the tag or wear it. Instead, one of the employees I was talking to pointed to the return policy sign (small sign leaning on a corner behind the counter) while telling her coworker "you see, that's why we have to put up a bigger sign because they don't read it." I commented, my bad for not seeing the sign and trusting this business. Then she said, "I don't think it's damaged, it's not even a big deal, just take it to get it fixed!" Note the contradiction. I told her it was not good business to sell expensive damaged items to customers then not being flexible with their return policy. She answered "how do I know it wasn't you who damaged it." Wow!!! By then another customer had approached the counter. The employee turned to her complaining "what's the point of having a sign if people don't look at it." I then asked, why are you getting her involved when the issue is with me? Then I asked if I could speak to a manager or owner. She said it was their day off and she wasn't going to call. She said she wasn't going to give me store credit either because I didn't have the receipt. I told her that her coworker standing next to her was the one who rung me up last week and didn't mention the return policy. She said that didn't matter because the policy was clear and the sign was there. She suggested I come back another day when the owner is available. I explained I wasn't going to drive all the way back again to get the same answer. By then, I accepted that this employee is inept and she wasn't going to offer anything else but rude comments so I decided to leave. By the way, upon closer inspection of the volumenous fabric I found additional smaller holes. I believe they are from moths. Be extra careful if you decide to spend your money here., If I could give negative stars I would. This store has a ridiculous return policy and is the most anti customer friendly store I have ever shopped at. I bought a dress as a gift. It was never worn or even tried on. The person that I bought for just didn’t like it. I came back to return it 6 days later. It was a distressed fabric so it had imperfections in the material. The person working there wasn’t going to accept the return at first because of the imperfections in the fabric when I insisted that they take it back they finally compared it to another dress in stock and realized that I didn’t damage it. They finally agreed to accept the return but explained that all items have to be returned in 7 days and that they only issue store credits and no refunds. This store’s return policy is unreasonable, the sales associates are unfriendly and the clothing is overpriced. An absolutely gross and disappointing experience all the way around.
