Had an amazing meal at Bar Louie! The cocktails and food were really tasty. The service was great. Plus, it's open late, which was a pleasant surprise to us when our flight came in late., Food was nice, we just got some appetizers, worth the trip for the cheese curds. The bartender forgot to put it order in so we ended up waiting 15 min for nothing until he came back to ask us for our order again. There were no more than 10 people at the bar but it was a late Monday night, so who knows., I recently attended an event hosted by the Brothers of Omega Psi Phi at Bar Louie in Tampa during our conclave, and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The place was packed with guests, yet the staff handled everything with grace and efficiency. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The waiters and bartenders went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was well taken care of. Despite the large crowd, the service was prompt and attentive. Our drinks were always filled, and the food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to the bartenders who kept the energy high and the drinks flowing smoothly. Their professionalism and ability to manage the crowd were truly impressive. The waitstaff was equally fantastic, handling our large group with ease and making sure every request was met with a smile. It's not easy to manage such a busy event, but the team at Bar Louie did it flawlessly. Bar Louie in Tampa exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!, I visited this restaurant in October, 2023 and was very excited to finally visit because Bar Louie came highly recommended from my girl who generally has very good tastes. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a House Salad on the side & the O.G. Mule. The sandwich was only average but not worth the high price tag and the salad was small and average in quality. The O.G. Mule was okay but nothing special. The prices on the menu are too much. There are not even any prices on the cocktails on the menu so you don’t even know what you are paying unless you ask before hand. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant which is not surprising. I think this place tries but comes up short in several areas. Would not recommend and would not go out of my way to come back. Would unfortunately have to say this is the worst restaurant in the International Plaza area. Very disappointing overall., This place is exactly what you’re looking for in a relaxing tavern/bar type atmosphere at a great mall. The kind of bar that’s a wrap around with plenty of seating for those who don’t want a table, but table seating is also very inviting and comfortable. I don’t think there is another place with so many desired beers on tap at this establishment; Had my faves even Jai Alai. And I’ve never had better calamari anywhere else in my life . And the sauces that come with it aren’t the norm you get from other establishments. So good! Very impressed and will be back. I want to thank Dane, this afternoon’s bartender. An all around nice guy.
