Spent the afternoon walking around Ybor City and stopped in to have a beer and chat with the bartender. It was on a Monday so the place was empty but it was still a very nice experience. The bar tender was extremely nice and the beer was served ice cold. This place has a cool atmosphere and and even cooler story of hot it started. Be sure to make a stop here on your trip out here, This was a horrible experience all around. To make matters worse- a couple had 2 dogs AT the bar. One was being held and the other was being fed. I can understand outside on the patio but AT the bar? The bartender was casually having a conversation with the couple as if it was a normal. It was completely unsanitary and not normal., Fun place from what I remember... :) great food, great booze, nice to be in a place that appreciates our Military., Cool bar, very reasonable drink prices, especially beer and well drinks. Usually crowded which only adds to the great atmosphere. Friendly patrons and staff, and you can be standing having drink with someone in jeans and t-shirt, have someone in shorts and sandals who needed to squeeze by people drinking in tuxedos and bow ties. Like I said, it's just a cool bar. Enjoy., Bad monkey is my favorite bar in ybor. I love all the bartenders but especially Bev, Keith, and Liz. They make me feel at home and truly love their job. They have darts, pool and trivia so you’ll never be bored. I will always recommend this place.
