The vibe at this place was very pleasing. And the service unmatched! The host and waiter met all of our needs and we really enjoyed ourselves there. I only wish the portion sizes were bigger for the price but over all, I’ll definitely be returning. Oh and the drinks were definitely a hit! I had the popstar which came with a side shot of Prosecco which was a nice touch especially if you don’t like your cocktails too sweet., Bouzy Bar is the Hidden Gem of Hyde Park Village!! This is my Go-To in Hyde Park Village as it has the full package. The cocktails (recommend the Jentini , Martinique and Espresso Martini), the fantastic food, the decor, the special hidden and cool backroom cellar, and the atmosphere itself are all reasons to go to Bouzy Bar. However, the #1 reason Bouzy Bar is such a gem to ME is simply due to Manager, Ralph Lee, and his top notch, super friendly and professional staff. I honestly know almost every staff member by name. Why? Because they foster a family environment and that is EXACTLY how they have made me feel as they have become family to me. They are the friendliest, most personable, unpretentious and simply the kindest staff I've ever encountered at a restaurant/bar. I have consistently invited as many friends of mine and/or colleagues to join me at Bouzy Bar to introduce them to this special place and the staff. Whether it's a celebration or you're having a hard day or you are solo and just feel like treating yourself, Bouzy Bar is the place to deliver what you need to put a smile on your face. I am genuinely grateful that I stumbled upon this gem when I did back in the day. I wholeheartedly recommend Bouzy Bar without reservation. Well done, Bouzy! See ya soon again! :), My second time having brunch at Bouzy and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bottomless mimosas are worth it. I love the truffle sandwich and the lobster roll. Sitting in the cellar is my favorite, and Breanna was a fabulous server. Thank you to Ralph and the rest of the Bouzy team for maming each experience a great one.
I will definitely be back., The setting and vibe of this spot were great for a date night. Especially sitting back by the wine cellar! Service was also outstanding but the food was pretty bland. The bao bun appetizers were sold out the night we went so we had to settle with the burrata. Our entrees were also just okay. The lobster Mac n cheese was a bit salty for my tastes. I’d probably just keep this as a drinks only kind of spot (the cocktails were tasty! Especially the espresso martini), We've been wanting to check out this concept by the people of Cru Cellars. Cute spot that's pretty small and limited inside. Definitely recommend making reservations and the speakeasy cellar is reservation only. The food and drinks were solid and didn't have anything to complain about. Service was average but again, nothing to complain about. The prices are about as expected. Next time we'll give the cellar a try.
