Fair winds and a hearty cheers await at Coconuts Bar in Big Pine Key., Cheap place for drinks. Expensive to buy beer. Bartenders have been great, but this is obviously a local smoker's hangout. Interesting that you can get a haircut in the back. We visited three different times, and usually same smoking crowd. Went to Boardwalks instead., TOURISTS BE AWARE. Locals target tourist and make rude comments. The staff charged us twice for our drinks and to play pool. We were not going to pay again, however the locals sitting at the bar started to threaten us. Not safe., They have snacks. No cooked food. Nice local place. Great service, always a good fun time. Pool tables available, nice sounding music box., If you don't like smokey environments, stay clear. They do have 3, really nice full size pool tables
