I gave it five stars because it's an amazing dive bar. We were told that this is the oldest dive bar on the island. They have karaoke 365 days a year and it is amazing. I feel horrible that I cannot remember our bartender's name. He was great. This is no frills and you make your own fun but it was an amazing experience. We had a great time. If you need time away from the hustle and bustle definitely stop in at The monkey bar!, Our favorite bar in Key West! Small but a great place and a pool table. Happy Hour is Noon until 8pm. Miller Lite and 2 mixed drinks $11. You can’t beat this place., very poor place, the bartender behaved as if he was working as a punishment. when we asked for the wifi password he said he didn't know it. The place itself does not attract anyone, it is gloomy and sad. It is not possible to pay by card, only cash. the only plus was that the drinks were cheap., All about the atmosphere and people watching here. Karaoke nightly at 9:30pm. Dive bar, LGBTQ+ friendly and fun with friendly regulars and newbie visitors alike., Visited while vacationing with friends in Key West for the Karaoke. Was basically forced out by the local crowd who started chanting "police" while we sang karaoke as a group. Would not recommend to any tourist or anyone visiting Key West for a short period of time.
