Had a great time, definitely get there early if you want to get parking (paid 15.00) arrived at 8:45 pm. **Bring cash**. Drinks are fairly priced. While inside.. it can get very crowded, as the night goes on. The AC (81 degrees) inside can't handle the number of people, so make sure you go get fresh air in the back terrace opening so you don't pass out. Left at 1 am due to overcrowding and unable to breathe in the main stage area. Need better ventilation and insulation. Fans can only do so much. Suggestion- Have the events play on the TV inside so others can watch while in other areas of the venue to avoid the over crowding in one place., Its been a few years since Ive been here and I love the vibe being back. I can tell there have been some lovely changes. The attendance was a very balanced mix of LGBT generations and all in good spirit. Not like other gay clubs that tend to attract packs of bachelorette parties or groups of creepy predator types.
I love that the security staff wear shirts labeled Safety with a shield. And the bartender serving me was real friend and recognized me amongst the crowd.
All the music choices in the main room were on point and the DJ’s transitions were crisp. And of course its always a delight to see that Roxxxy is still hosting the nightly drag show. This really felt like a welcoming and positive place to come back to., This place is awful!! Me and my partner were in line for the bathrooms . This guy approached us and started to dance with me. He grabbed my hand and waved me to come with him. Silly me thought he was bringing me to a less crowded bathroom. He brought us outside . Grabbed our hands and ripped our wrist bands off . He then said”have a good night”. I was so confused . We were not drunk or anything. We were just standing in line to the bathroom. We sat there as we ordered a Uber. We watched him do it to MANY other people. We started talking to the people coming out . They said the same thing. They were in the line for the bathroom. He then takes pictures of the people leaving. When I walked up to get a picture of him. He posed , then went to tell the officer that we took a picture. We paid a total of $55 each. For what? There was a huge line at the door for people to get in. After reading some reviews I see that they do this that way they can have room for others to get in and collect more money. There needs to be something done about this., I decided to have my birthday party with friends last Sunday there. I visited their social medias to see if my friends would be able to enter since they are under 21 and there wasn’t any information about it. Nothing there said on Sunday it’s only 21+. We arrived and the employees were too rude and impolite with us as the cops. Although they apologize for the incorrect informationt, they said go away. It doesn’t matter if it’s your birthday today. They didn’t allow us to stay in front of the night club deciding what to do. They should be polite and kind with people there., the WORST security in the world. Came here as a tourist visiting orlando and they were nothing but rude. Laughed at my id because it was from a different country and gave me judgmental looks. Inside was even worse and they did not appear friendly or nice at all. Gay clubs are meant to be a safe and fun environment this is not that at all. Wouldn’t reccomend to anyone. Don’t waste your money.
