We got a 2 hour kayak rental to watch the river get turned green during St. Patty's day ☘️ The staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire process was easy. We booked online ahead of time and then just showed up the next day and everything was ready to go. ☀️ Remember to bring water out with you!, The business and attendant were helpful and fulfilled their promises. Like the website says, know this location is on the Riverwalk and not really observable from your car. You must park nearby for as much as $30 or more depending on demand, so allow ample time to find parking at an acceptable rate then walk to and find the location. The site is at water level next to the S. Harbor Island Blvd. Bridge and adjacent to the Tampa Marriott, itself on the west side of the JW Marriott. Your immediate rowing is along busy but respectful river and channel traffic and concrete-lined banks often tagged by college rowing crews. You are the smallest craft but will be safe if you stick to the right areas. You are able to avoid the traffic compression going under the bridges by sticking to the narrow periphery channels. The kayaks are very stable. There is a lot to see and observe. Just think of this as 'busy port and river kayaking' to set your expectations., Rented SUP’s for 2hrs and paddled out near the large mansions. Great quality boards, competitive prices, and great scenery. The attendant gave us some good options to choose for the different directions. Thanks for a great time!
