I’m incredibly upset with this place. Me, my family, and my friends went to Gilbert’s resort with intentions of riding jet skis offered by sunshine watersports. We got our temporary licenses and everything. Me and my friends were relaxing in the small area of the resort and decided to ride jet ski. We saw no one by the skis but we saw a pickup next to the trailer. The employee was inside the pickup. He saw us looking around and payed us no mind. We called out to him and he told us with his hands that they were closed. I called the number and they said they close at 5:00 PM we were there around 3:30 PM. He gave us no reason as to why we could not rent them he barely even spoke. He opened the door when we tried to get his attention once more and said they were closed. The conditions were fine. He clearly didn’t want our money. If anything I found it disrespectful. If 0 stars was possible I would leave 0 stars., We rented some jet skis from the Gilbert’s location. The equipment was in good shape and ran great. We had two orders per jet ski. They gave us instructions and pointed to the area we could go to. The area was a large basin and ran for about 3.5 miles. Really a great time. Could not have been easier. Highly recommended., Had an awesome time, I highly recommend coming here if you’re on vacation or for fun! Kevin was awesome person to work with at this place! My jet ski broke and he came out right away to switch out my ski!, If I could leave 0 stars I would. This guy didn’t even have the courtesy to explain why he was closed. Me and my girlfriend wanted to ride jet skis and he said he was closed from within his truck. Didn’t give us a reason we were within the time limit. The ocean was a plate super nice and calm and this guy didn’t rent me a jet ski. I wouldn’t want to say he’s racist but at this point it feels like that’s what it was., This is a horribly run business! Every time I go there, the owner is super rude and disrespectful. He acts as if he does not want our business. He refuses to let you prepay and come back in one hour or whenever he thinks he will have a jet ski available. He yells out that you must come back at such and such a time and he will accept payment then. Half the time I go there, he is closed before his posted schedule. If you would like to have a good time and feel appreciated as a customer, NEVER go there! What a horribly rude individual! Drive a bit furtlher South and you will find many other places to rent a jet ski! I do not drink alcohol! The owner was hiding with a full deck of jetskis, so I had to peak around the corner to see if he was there. When I saw him, he was in his trailer drinking a beer. That's when he started yelling at me that he was not the only one drinking and that he bet that if he went to my table there were drinks there as well. I told him he was welcome to go because we were not a drinking group like he was. He really needs to have his license revoked for drinking alcohol right there on the job when he is supposed to be in charge of his guests' safety out on the water. What a disgrace to business owners in South Florida! Insulting your potential customers is not the way to conduct business! You are way up there in age and have not learned the basics - DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL ON THE JOB! It is really bad for your clients' safety! You need to find a new business for the sake of humanity! Also other reviews state the same thing! You are rude and do not respect your clients nor your schedule! You just assume we are all tourists, one time customers, so you not have to show any customer service! TOURISTS BE AWARE OF THIS RUDE BUSINESS OWNER WHO DRINKS ON THE JOB RIGHT THERE IN HIS RENTAL TRAILER AND RIPS YOU OFF WITH HIS POOR QUALITY SERVICE AND OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!
