We had a lot of fun on our trip!
Saw nurse sharks, horseshoe crabs, little crabs, jellyfish, and even a little manatee. We did the 11 o’clock tour, next time I’d want to do the 9 am to have a better chance of seeing more wildlife. The mangrove tunnels were mesmerizing!
Staff were super friendly and helpful and the bartender at Hurricane Hole was super cool, too.
Thanks for everything, guys!, We had an amazing time today with Heather as our kayak guide through the mangrove trees in Key West. She was very knowledgeable about the area and we were thrilled to see some nurse sharks, horseshoe crab, Cassiopeia jellyfish, a manatee mom and her baby, crabs, and bird life. She pointed out and commented on several areas of nature- plants, animals and sea life. There were a total of 12 of us in kayaks (some single and most double) and she kept us all together during the two hours. Would highly recommended Lazy Dog 🐾💕, This was our first experience using kayaks, and it was amazing! Jon was an awesome tour guide. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the aquatic life and was able to answer all of the questions that our group had. We were able to see a lot of sea-life including two manatees, two nurse sharks, jelly fish and more! Thank you, Jon and the rest of the staff at Lazy Dog Adventures for being so knowledgeable and friendly., Bethany was an absolute delight. Her experience and knowledge of the wildlife in and around the ocean and mangroves made our kayak trip fun and educational. We will definitely tour with Lazy Dog again. Bonus. We got to see manatees, numerous nurse sharks , and a starfish on the tour. Amazing., Heather! What a great guide! 2 hours of easy going guided kayaking through stunning mangrove "tunnels" and open water. The water was clear and warm and we saw starfish, held a snowflake jellyfish, observed juvenile nurse sharks and saw a sea turtle just to name a few highlights. We learned a lot about the ecosystem of the keys and enjoyed every minute of the tour. Heather and the staff of Lazy Dog Tours were super friendly and easy to be around. A great adventure.
