I had a small crack that needed to be repaired on my new SUP that was damaged on shipping from another vendor. Ski World advertises on their website that they offer professional repair services for SUPs. However my small crack turned into an art project for Jackson. Not only was the crack NOT PROPERLY REPAIRED by Ski World but the contrasting paint color over the repair was a complete FAIL. And the paint was a 6x8 inch square to cover a quarter sized crack! Why?? -- I've updated this review with a picture to show the final repair that I did MYSELF to prove that it isn't magic to get a color match for paint (thank you Sherwin-Williams in Lake Mary) and repair the crack, it only requires minimal skills that Ski World is lacking. To be clear, I did not choose to pay Ski World to have my SUP returned to me in worse shape than when I gave it to them with a large contrasting patch of paint, and the original crack was STILL VISIBLE under the badly matched paint. Ski World represented it could make the repair and they could not, and did not. Instead of owning up to the fact that this was a poorly executed (non) repair, the explanation provided shows that Ski World doesn't understand why I was extremely disappointed with them over this., I took a foil lesson today with Doug and it was awesome. You need to try this, trust me you do. He had me standing up and flying around the lake in no time. Doug is a top notch instructor. The equipment is well maintained and the lake is clear and refreshing. A great experience all around!! I have a new favorite sport.Thank you Ski World and Doug. I’ll be back!!, Went in to find a wakesurf rope and was greeted by the cutest Australian Shepherds! Ski world had a large selection of ropes in all price points which was nice. Very helpful customer service as well!, The inventory was limited. And then when I asked to try on a ski boot they told me it would cost $50 non refundable for fitting. They said they would apply the 50 to the purchase of boots. I was ready to buy 5 or 600 dollar pair of boots. Nothing extravagant. But wasn't going to risk $50 giving their limited inventory. I expl that given that kind of fee for service , chances are I won't be coming back., This store had everything we were looking for. The staff is great. Super friendly dogs. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for ski equipment. 🎿 I give this business two thumbs up and five stars.
