Windmark - Overview of the area

The Beach House is just a short golf cart or bike ride to the beach and Windmark Beach Town Center. The town center has restaurants, the Mill Mercantile and Social (quick grocery items, candy shop for kids, adult beverages, live music and so much more), and a resort style pool and playground. If you can't find what you are looking for there, downtown Port St. Joe is just a quick drive from the home. There is an abundance of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, and the Piggly Wiggly grocery store in this area.

Windmark Town Center Beach Access: Goodmorning St. dead ends straight to beach. Golf cart parking available.

If you'd like to drive the golf cart onto the board walk/golf cart path you can access the boardwalk at Boardwalk #5. You'll see the sign that allows emergency vehicles and golf cart access.

Windmark North Beach Access:
This access can be found from the Windmark North Beach Pool or by use of the golf cart/walking/biking pathway. See access point in photos below!

US-98 Restrictions: It is illegal and prohibited to drive golf carts on or across Highway 98, meaning there is no legal golf cart path or route connecting WindMark to external areas like Mexico Beach or Cape San Blas.

Leave No Trace Policy: Please clean up after yourself and remove all items from the beach by sunset to help preserve its natural beauty.

オーバーフロー駐車場、ビーチ駐車場、ボート駐車場に関する駐車場情報

指定エリア:
縦列駐車または斜め駐車の標識または署名がある公道での駐車は許可されています。

HOA は、オーバーフロー駐車が必要な場合は、タウンセンターの公共駐車場に一晩駐車できると案内しました。自宅から車でわずか 1 分の町の中心部に車 1 台を停めることができます。 Bruno's Pizzaの近くには公共駐車場があります。

The Millの裏手には砂利の駐車場もあり、そこに駐車することができます（ボートやトレーラーの駐車は禁止）。

BBQ Grill

Please feel free to use the grill located in the backyard. Kindly clean it with the provided brush after each use and cover it once it has cooled down. Please ensure the grill remains covered when not in use. A second propane tank is available in the garage.

6-seater Golf cart

The 6 seater cart is included in your stay at no additional cost. If you've completed the rental form, the cart will be ready for your use upon check-in.

The golf cart will be located in the garage and available for use upon your arrival.

Golf Cart Instructions

The key is already in the ignition.
Turn the key to start the cart.
Use the dial on the dash to select:
“F” for forward
“R” for reverse
Press the accelerator pedal to move, or the brake pedal to slow/stop.

Parking & Charging

When parked, please turn the dial to “N” (neutral) and turn the key OFF.
At the end of the day, kindly park the cart on the right side of the garage and plug in the charging cord.

Important Notes

When driving in and out of the garage, please go very slowly as the roof of the cart may touch the overhead door.
The garage door remote is located above the driver’s side on the frame.

🚴‍♀️ Feel free to use the bikes in the garage! Please remember to wear a helmet while riding. Enjoy!

Firepit

You’re welcome to use the fire pit located in the backyard.

Please use it safely and follow basic precautions:

Do not leave the fire unattended while in use.
Only burn clean, dry firewood, do not burn trash or plastics.
Make sure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving or going to bed.
Enjoy your time by the fire! 🔥

Outdoor Shower

We have an outdoor shower available for your convenience, perfect for rinsing off sand, salt, and sunscreen after a day at the beach!

Please remember:
• Use the outdoor shower before entering the house to help keep sand out.
• Rinse off beach chairs, toys, and gear as well if needed.
• Turn the water off completely after use.
• Please do not use soap or shampoo unless otherwise noted (to protect the drainage area).
