🚗 Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) to 1485 Maloa Way, Rock Hill, SC
Approx. drive: 30–35 minutes
Follow signs to I‑485 South / I‑77 South
Merge onto I‑77 South
Stay on I‑77 South toward Rock Hill/Columbia for about 20–25 miles.
Cross into South Carolina and continue following I‑77 South into Rock Hill, SC.
Take the exit toward SC‑5 / Cherry Rd
Use the appropriate exit for local roads leading into the neighborhood near Maloa Way.
Follow navigation to 1485 Maloa Way
Turn onto the streets as indicated by your GPS or map app until you reach 1485 Maloa Way
Look for 1485 Maloa Way on the right-hand side, it is in a quiet residential area with clearly numbered homes.
We’re located in a friendly & welcoming community. While this is a Holiday destination, we kindly ask that you respect our neighbors' privacy and their right to a peaceful environment. In particular, please keep noise to a minimum between the quiet hours of 10 PM - 8 AM. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Breakages
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please take photos of it and let us know immediately - Thank you!
Smoking Policy
This is a smoke-free home, including the outside area surrounding property. No smoking of any substance including vaping.
Toliets/Sinks
Absolutely NO grease should be poured down the drains. Only human waste should be flushed in the toilets, nothing else. This includes paper towels, feminine pads, tampons, or any other items.
Please note that “flushable wipes' are also NOT allowed, as they can cause serious damage to the sewage system and may result in toilets and plumbing becoming unusable. Guests will be responsible for any damage caused.
Check-out time is strictly at 10AM EST
If you require a later check-out, we’ll do our best to accommodate it. But please bear in mind you’ll need to let us know beforehand.
If we have guests arriving that day it will be almost impossible to offer a late check-out due to the cleaners needed enough time to prepare for those guests.
Before your departure, we would appreciate if you would take care of the following:
🛌 Leave the beds unmade. No need to strip them.
🚿 Place used towels on the floor in the bathroom.
🍽 Load the dishwasher and start it.
🍜 Please remove all of your food and drinks from the refrigerator.
🗑 Empty all the trash.
🧳 Be sure you've grabbed all your items. (fee to ship forgotten items)
🔐 Check all doors and windows to be sure that they are locked.
🔑 Please leave the golf cart key in the cart and plug in the cart to charge. (If applicable)

Here's a basic list of what you might want to bring on your vacation. You'll no doubt have your own needs, but we thought this might be helpful, knowing what we do about the amenities in this home!

We’ll provide you with an access key code before your arrival. Check-in is 4PM EST. Please make sure you have received the code before you travel. If you haven’t received this before setting off, please contact us. There's nothing worse than arriving somewhere new (potentially at night) and not being able to get in!
Instructions to unlock are included below.
To enter, simply enter the code and click the check mark on the bottom left, then you'll hear a tone.
To lock, just close the door and tap the Lock icon.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please avoid locking the door handle when leaving to help prevent any lockouts.
• Park car in driveway if possible. Street parking is not allowed.
• Keep garage door closed at all times.
EMERGENCY: If the lock fails for any reason please call or text us. We also have a lockbox with a physical key on property. We can give you directions so you can get in.

Cookware, Pots, Pans, Dishware & Utensils
We’re glad you’re here to enjoy our carefully selected dish ware, cookware, utensils, and pots & pans. They are all located in the Kitchen cabinets. To help keep everything in excellent condition for all guests, please follow these simple guidelines:
Gentle Use: Treat all items with care. Avoid using metal utensils on non-stick surfaces to prevent scratches.
Cleaning: Hand wash delicate items when possible. Dishwasher-safe items are labeled accordingly.
Heat Safety: Use pots, pans, and cookware only as intended and on appropriate heat settings.
Storage: Please return all items to their designated spots after use.
Report Issues: If anything breaks or is damaged, kindly take photos and let us know immediately. Thank you

Make cooking and breakfast simple with our Ninja Foodi 3-in-1 Toaster, Grill & Panini Press. This appliance lets you toast, grill, and press paninis all in one, perfect for a quick meal or a delicious homemade snack.
How to Use:
Plug in the toaster and select the desired function (Toaster, Grill, or Panini Press).
Adjust the temperature or settings according to your recipe.
Preheat if needed, then place your food on the grill or in the press.
Close the lid gently and cook until your food reaches the desired doneness.
Unplug after use and allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
Coffee Machines
A Keurig and Drip coffee maker is available for your use in the kitchen.
We’ve provided a few complimentary pods to get you started, but feel free to bring your favorite coffee, espresso, or creamer so you can enjoy your perfect cup just the way you like it.

Bathroom Toilet
IMPORTANT NOTE: ⚠️
Absolutely NO tampons or anything else other than toilet paper and human waste in the toilets.
Flushable wipes are NOT allowed.
This will cause damage to the sewage system and water and toilets to be unusable. Guests will be billed for any damage caused.
⚠️ Please don’t forget to turn on the exhaust fan when taking a shower to help prevent damage or staining on the bathroom walls.
Heating & Cooling
You will find a thermostat panel on the wall beside the Laundry room that allows you to control the temperature of the home. If you're running the air conditioning, please ensure that all windows and doors are closed to ensure it operate to maximum efficiency. We recommend a setting of 72F / 22C which we find keeps the place at a comfortable temperature.
Heat: Controls the heating system.
Cool: Controls the cooling system.
Off: Turns the heating and cooling systems off.
Auto: When enabled, the thermostat will automatically use heating or cooling to reach the desired temperature.
Please do not shut off heat in winter months
The units may take a few min to warm up to the desired temp you set. Give them some time then reach out to us if you're having any trouble getting them to a comfortable temperature.
Laundry Appliances | Iron & Ironing Board
We have a washer and separate dryer, Iron and Ironing Board located in the Laundry room, near the Kitchen. There is a supply of detergent for your use.
Kitchen Equipment
Sink: Please do not pour grease or food waste down the sink drains, as this can cause clogs. Our kitchen is equipped with a garbage disposal, but guests are responsible for any damage or plumbing issues resulting from food or grease in the sink. Thank you for helping us keep everything in good working order!
Dishwasher: It's very simple, we promise! We provide a supply of tablets - you will need to insert one into the flip box container on the inside of the dishwasher door. Then press the program button of your choice - there are a few settings which are obvious - then press the start button. If the dishwasher isn't starting, confirm the plug is completely into the outlet.
Fridge/freezer: You should not need to adjust any settings. If you run into any difficulties (e.g. it's not cooling efficiently) please let us know.
**Stove top/Oven: **The stove top and oven uses propane.
Pot Filler: For easy and convenient cooking, our kitchen is equipped with a pot filler faucet above the stove. This allows you to fill large pots directly on the cooktop, saving you from carrying heavy water-filled pots from the sink.
Trash Information
Please note: Trash can is located in the garage. Please keep the bins closed at all times. Thank you
Trash Disposal for Longer Stays:
Please note that there is no city trash pickup. All trash must be hauled to the Mt. Gallant Collection & Recycling Center. Thank you

You’re welcome to use our TCL Smart TV and entertainment system for your personal use. The Television is a smart television so feel free to bring your passwords and log into your personal accounts (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, Disney+). With additional Premium streaming services included (Direct TV).
To use the television:
Power on
Use the remote controller to access apps, smart tv features (i.e. push Netflix/Youtube button on remote).
Looking for the sleep timer? settings (lower left button)>general>system manager>time>sleep timer

We’ve curated a selection of board games for your enjoyment. To keep everything in great condition, please follow these simple guidelines:
Gentle Use: Handle books and games with care. Avoid tearing pages or losing game pieces.
Return Items: After playing a game or reading a book, please return it to its designated spot so the next guest can enjoy it too.
Clean Hands: Make sure your hands are clean before handling books and games to keep them in top condition.
Report Issues: If a game piece is lost or a book is damaged, please let us know so we can replace it.

You’re welcome to enjoy our Soundbar located below the Smart TV.
You can connect any device via bluetooth or with a cable. We ask you to be mindful about volumes, especially early in the morning and late at night. Thank you
Note on Indoor Fireplace:
Please be advised that the indoor fireplace is not operational and is not included as an amenity. Kindly do not use it. Thank you for understanding!

Enjoy the comfortable outdoor seating on the back deck, complete with a television and ceiling fan to keep you cool while you relax or unwind outdoors.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please note that the back porch cushions are stored under the basement bed. Feel free to take them out when needed, and kindly return them to the same place after use. Thank you!
Kayak and Paddleboard

🚣♂️ You are welcome to enjoy the kayak and paddle board, conveniently located near the boat dock.
Please use them responsibly and always follow safety guidelines. Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times while on the water. After use, kindly return all equipment to its original location.

Boat dock
You are welcome to park your boat at the designated boat slip near the back deck. Please be sure your boat is properly secured at all times using appropriate lines and fenders to prevent damage, especially with changing water levels or weather conditions. For everyone’s safety and to protect the dock, double-check that everything is tied off before leaving the boat unattended.

Firetable
We have a fire table on the back deck, perfect for enjoying relaxing evenings outdoors.
Please follow these safety guidelines:
Check the fuel – Ensure the propane or gas tank is properly connected and turned on.
Ignite safely – Use the ignition switch or lighter
Supervise at all times – Never leave the fire table unattended while in use.
Keep a safe distance – Maintain a safe distance from the flames and keep children nearby but supervised.
Turn off after use – Make sure to fully turn off the fire and gas supply after enjoying.
How to operate the Firetable?
Please do not turn the key. Instead, hold the button down while pressing the igniter button, and it should light properly. Once it warms up, you can adjust the flame from high to low.

We have a fire pit available for you to use. It’s located right along the property line with the neighbor, so please try not to wander to the left side of the fire pit when facing the water. For safety, please make sure to fully put out the fire after use. Thank you!
Pit Boss Series 850 DX wood pellet grill
🔥 How to use this Pit Boss pellet grill
Open the hopper (left side box)
Pour in the wood pellets
Make sure it’s filled enough for your cook
Use the power cord and extension
Plug into the extension cord and pull it in the driveway
Press the power button
Set to “Smoke” or lowest setting first
This starts feeding pellets into the fire pot
Leave it on Smoke for 10-15 minutes
You should see a small flame + smoke
Then set your desired temperature (e.g. 350°F, 400°F, etc.)
Close the lid and let it preheat
Once temp stabilizes, place food on grill grates
Turn to Shut Down Cycle
Let it run for 5–10 minutes
Then switch off power
⚠️ Quick safety notes
Always keep it in a well-ventilated area (driveway)
Don’t use it indoors or fully enclosed garage
Make sure ashes are cool before cleaning and kindly use the grill brush to clean it after use
